Why work with me?
“I wish that all translators carried out their work with the same impeccable techniques, ethics and attitude that Caitlin brings to each project she takes on. Indeed, Caitlin always acts in the most professional manner, adhering to best practices, following the brief, and meeting all deadlines without fault.
Caitlin’s work – whether translating or editing – is consistently of a very high standard and requires no amendment and if it needs tweaking, Caitlin always welcomes comments and suggestions. The level of accuracy is remarkable, and her work showcases full mastery of translation procedures and experience.
It has been a privilege to work with Caitlin for the last three years and I look forward to working with her for many years to come.”Claire Itani
“The varied nature of our network means much of what we need translated requires awareness of cultural differences and sensitivities, as well as good journalistic language skills. Caitlin’s translations are always of this professional standard required for publication and she has faithfully met our deadlines without fail. We greatly value her contribution to our small charity.”Niamh Rae, International Network of Street Papers
“Caitlin has distinguished herself from other translators for the quality of her work and her faithful respect of short deadlines. We highly recommend her to any other organisation who is interested. Working with Caitlin would be an asset to any institution.”Charlotte Mougey, Solidarités International

I have over four years of professional experience and over six years of voluntary experience.
I used to work in-house at a translation agency in Tours, France, where I gained an understanding of the industry, polished my French and soaked up the culture. I also sampled a lot of patisseries and now know some fun facts about chateaus in the Loire Valley!
I regularly attend conferences, webinars and workshops to develop my language skills and specialised knowledge. You can find some of what I’ve been up to on my about page.
